The Hope College Chapel Choir, founded in 1938, tours annually in North America, and has traveled abroad to many parts of Europe, as well as Africa and Russia. Along with the Symphonette, College Chorus and brass and flute choirs, the Chapel choir participates in Hope's annual Christmas Vespers. A tradition since 1941, Christmas Vespers is broadcast throughout the United States on PBS Television and National Public Radio.

The Chapel Choir has been performing annual March concerts at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Holland, Michigan, for the past decade. Hope has a deep relationship with St. Francis dating back to December 12, 1995, when the church suffered a devastating fire and the college invited the church to hold its services in Dimnent Chapel. Since being rebuilt, St. Francis has generously hosted choral performances in its beautiful sanctuary on a regular basis. This recording is a compilation of the 2010 and 2011 Chapel Choir concerts.
