My soul doth magnify the Lord,
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
For He hath regarded the lowliness of his handmaiden.
For behold, from hence-forth all generations shall call me blessed.
For He that is mighty hath magnified me, and holy is His Name.
And His mercy is on them that fear Him throughout all generations.
He hath shewed strength in with his arm:
He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat
and hath exalted the humble and meek.
He hath filled the hungry with good things,
And the rich he hath sent empty away
He rememb’ring His mercy hath holpen His servant Israel,
As He promised to our forefathers, Abraham and his seed, forever.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

\O come, all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and behold him
Born the King of Angels:
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!
God of God, Light of Light,
Lo! He abhors not the Virgin's womb
Very God, begotten, not created:
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!
Sing choirs of angels, sing in exultation;
Sing all ye citizens of heaven above:
“Glory to God in the highest!”
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!
Yea, Lord we greet thee, born that happy morning;
Jesus to thee be glory giv’n,
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing:
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!

I believe this is Jesus; come and see, come and see;
I believe this is Jesus; come and see, come and see.
The Light of God shines in His face,
Oh come and see, come and see.
He offers His pard’ning grace;
come and see, come and see.

(Sung in Spanish)
Mr. Joseph, Mrs. Mary
The boy Emmanuel has been born in Lima;
People from the Rimac
Bring to him food and joy and cake with honey.
Mrs. Juana will be the godmother
And has taken her hen to make soup.
The godfather will be Mr. Quiñones,
Who will bring the divine boy delicious sweets.
Gaspar brings from casagrande
Sugarcane to suck.
A delicious cake brings his uncle Melchior,
Who wants to give him the best sweet.
The good man Baltazar brings water of the maple tree
For Manuelito not to cry.
Jesus of my soul, do not cry so much.
All the little ones love you so much,
From the Waters way they are coming
To bring you rice with milk and flowers.
Those from Malambito, bring for you
Sweet cookies and bread
Jesus of my soul, do not cry so much,
Everyone has arrived.

Once in royal David’s city
stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid her Baby
in a manger for His bed
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ, her little child.
He came down from earth to heaven
Who is God and Lord of all,
And his shelter was a stable,
And His cradle was a stall:
With the poor, and mean, and lowly,
Lived on earth our Savior holy.
Jesus is our childhood’s pattern
day by day like us He grew;
He was little, weak and helpless,
Tears and smiles like us He knew:
And He feeleth for our sadness,
And He shareth in our gladness.
And our eyes at last shall see Him,
Through His own redeeming love.
For that Child so dear and gentle
is our Lord in heaven above;
And He leads His children on
to the place where He is gone.

O born light of light,
Jesus, redeemer of the world,
Mercifully deem worthy and accept
the praises and prayers of your supplicants.
Thou who once deigned to be clothed in flesh
For the sake of the lost ones,
Grant us to be made members of your holy body.

Long on this journey,
Long in these shadows,
Far from the only home;
Low all our hoping,
Deep the undoing,
Just this forsaken road
Voices we dream of,
Echoes remember
We all together there
Heaven was once
Our song to be singing
Hearts’ every word
In wonder and joy.
I am how your heart discovers
All the Hopes that sleep in you
I am every silence calling
I am Fountain, I am Meadow
I am every secret door
Sing your ships into their harbors
Sing them bring them heal them home
Murmur every holy river
I am harvest, I am blossom
I am leaves around your soul
Come from the shadows, into the gleaming,
Dawn of the day in us;
Open our lives to everything growing –
How shall we say this grace?
World we are watching, world we are,
Keep us in life with you.
How do we answer? How do we know?
Love bring us closer. Mercy us Home.

I am full of tears!!
Tears of joy that seem to well and flow
Upon the thought that I carry the promise
Of beauty for ashes and life anew.
A plan so delicate that no gentle hand of ours
Could place it all in place with grace
To cause it not to break.
Birthed from faith and made with love, it grows.
Hope nurtures it and peace sustains
the dwelling place as the hymn does
the soul that sings of Thee.
These tears which once fell for loss,
Now build a grateful river that runs
Through forests of prayer and possibility.
They flow, but joy never leaves.

Noche de paz, noche de amor,
Todo duerme en derredor.
Entre sus astros que esparcen su luz
Bella anunciando al niñito Jesús.
Brilla la estrella de paz, brilla la estrella de paz.
Silent night! Holy Night! All is calm, all is bright
‘round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night! Wondrous star, lend thy light;
With the angels let us sing Alleluia to our King:
“Christ the Savior is born! Christ the Savior is born!”
